This is a bill being introduced that would force every American, to register every gun, and pay a $25 fee every five years.  They also do a mental background check every time you register another gun.  I think if I started filling out the forms today, I might finish next week sometime along with the thousands of dollars in fees.  The thing that gets me, if you have a concealed carry permit your background and FBI check is already done.  Last time I checked, it is the right of every American to own and bear arms.  Nothing in our Constitution says anything about registering every firearm you own.  What are these IDIOTS thinking...

How they going to force it? There's a law now that requires firearms to be registered, and not everyone does it with all firearms.

Up here we had the same type of [stuff] shoved up our poopshute by our then Liberal government who said it would save lives and pay for itself.  In two years it had cost over 2 billion dollars was a mess and most want it rescinded but that hasn't happened yet.  They also put in legislation about licensing all gun owners.  I took a week long course at Hinton for raange officers that I passed.  This allow's me to stand over up to 300 people on a shooting range and keep them all safe as the range officerin charge.  Not good enough  :madd:  I had to take the new course at $160 dollars and then apply every five years for the license $50.
I say what I think not think what I say.

This is a for real bill that will require licensing and registration of ALL firearms, payment of a $25 fee for each firearm, and allows the government to search your house at any time.  There are many ways to become a felon under this bill.

There is NO law that requires registration of firearms at present.  But this law would make it a felony if you do not register and pay the fee.

The Obama crowd is feeling very confident right now.    :sad3:

I for one will fight to the death to keep my constitutional rights.
And it does not say if you pay us you have the right to bear arms...

I agree this needs to be watched very closely but I also feel with no co- sponsor(s), H.R. 45 has very little chance of going anywhere other than to be passed from committee to committee. A "hot potato" that no one wants to touch.

I pray I'm right.

Glenn Beck on Fox news had a guy on his show last week talking about this bill and he said this Bill would also require a person that owned a gun to have a $1,000,000.00 Liability Insurance Policy. Change is Coming.  :argh: cc

You should take a look at what they are doing to taxes on tobacco......it is easier for them to do this so they go there first then guns are more easily attacked cause the poor get poorer.
1 lb. of tobacco is going to be taxed $24 more supposedly in April and they have already raised it once this month.
So if you chew tobacco or smoke you better stock up!
