I wanted to have a friendly contest to see all the different styles of calling so just keep it friendly and post away genelmen.
No voting no winners or loosers.........just us FNF'rs showing what we can do.
Please keep the file sizes small enough that us dial up guys can see and have fun.........We can teach those that need to learn how to call by just refering them to this thread so keep that in mind when posting.
Explain what we are hearing and post away just for fun.
I'll get something done this weekend once momma and the kids are away.
For those like me that have never posted a sound clip before:

While your posting, click on the Additional Options link under the post window, and upload your sound clip.
When done this way the clip is actually uploaded to the FNF server. Because of this, some formats have been removed to prevent maliscious files from being uploaded.
What is being accepted is listed once you click it.
If your format is not listed, you'll have to upload it somewhere else and then post a link.

Mr. Rich Cronk, in what way did you modify your MiniSqueal?
I have one that I modified as well. Just wondering if great minds think alike! :eyebrownod:
My hat's in the ring...
KillerCaller!,
Great minds do in fact think alike in some ways. I am presently using a strip of old microfisch card for a reed. The cellophane reed that comes in the mini squeal has good sound, but I am always trying something different. Sometimes I cut strips of .010 mylar for reeds also.
Fawn distress...Tweety (Open reed)

WV, I'm not sure as of yet.
Rich, I truely appreciate that coming from you! You sir are no slouch in the hand call department yourself!
Rich, are you planning on being at the expo? I hope you say yes...I'd like the opportunity to shake your hand..Thanks again for the kind words, it means alot..
JD
Sounds good BIG GEORGE!! It shore nuff is loud. :highclap:
the phone i am using is like 3 feet away from me :argh:
my computer so old,, i cant hear anything right on it...
Sounds good guys........real good.
George I had the same problem of being loud so I went outside to do my calling and I think it helped.
I think if we all got together we could do one hell of a serenade!!
JD you have convinced me to try a latex howler for sure I love that.

Howl. Done without using my hands! Lol! :eyebrownod:
Killer Call... Adult distress plus "peepish" whines...
KC again. Animals of all types love this sound.
Canine,
I probably won't be at the expo, but you have me thinking about it again. There will be some really great guys there, and I am anxious to see the new caller that FoxPro is coming out with. Please be assured that I would not have praised your ability with hand calls if I didn't mean it. Most times, it doesn't make much difference to the coyotes, but in pressured area's, the quality of screams they hear can make a big difference at times.
In highly pressured area's, the screams of a mystery critter can mean the difference between success and failure. The sound in this post is a recording of one of my lip squeal variations.
I'm praying like heck that no ones gonna freak out when these sounds start surfacing somewhere beside FnF. :sneer:
Should I adjust the permissions so that you have to have so many posts to download an attached sound...or??
edit...by the way I've added a link to this post to the reference grid at the top of the page. :congrats:
I'm using an Olympus digital voice recorder and it picks up alot of fuzz. I need to get a mic for my puter.
This is an E.L.K power howler
E.L.K howler again.
Sounds good Jason, the fuzz just keeps someone from borrowing it..... :laf:
Jason...Sounds real good bud..
Matter of fact, they all sound good! Kudo's to everyone so far, hopefully more will join in with us..
Jim, The recording equip I'm using is inferior, probably won't make for a good sound on an E-caller anyway.
JD
Jim Champion,
The sounds I post here are free. If anyone wants to take one of my sounds and load it on their E caller, I certainly have no problem with that. If I can help someone call more critters, then I have fulfilled a bit more of my goal in life.
That works for me.
I just know through experience that some put a lot into developing a sound and to find it claimed or used elsewhere causes issues. Wanted everyone to know that the public has access to all this. All though guests cannot view attachments, they can the ones that aren't being attached via the additional options button.
I'm willing to put attachments off limits to certain groups, like new member or whatever....but it's gonna take some members to want it that way.
If anyone wants that goofy howling I did..........they are welcome to it as well.
they can have mine also,,,,, just one thing i need from who ever takes it ,
you must tell everyone ells its Bopeye :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
I think mine is too poor of quality but they can have it.

A lot of time!? Record cut print here... As you can tell.
Mr. Cronk, I use a VERY small rubber band on my MiniSqueal. The plastic is just too weak for my Aqualungs and spittle. Same sound as the plastic if you stretch them enough and the bands last longer. Not much in the way of innovation as the S-2 also uses a much wider rubber band but it works for me.

No, I dont often do this at all :laf:
here is my rabbit distress on a critrcall standard. I am still trying to figure out how to strip the video from the sound. I am not sure if this series would be decent or not. this is only a two minutes of footage. this went on for about 10 minutes total.
http://www.bigbenshaus.com/rabbit.wmv
here is a downloadable one for a foxpro and I imagine minaska. not sure if this could be used or not. the crow sounds are around the same volume as the rabbit bawls.
