Kick the speakers up a notch and enjoy

I hope you can listen to this.  I can't imagine the work it took to pull this off.  It is great.

Unless I'm mistaken, and I have before, I think that whole thing praises Obamas presence.
I'm not really Pro Obama :nono:

That site was founded and set up by Norman Lear.  He is a left wing democrat activist who believes Obama is the messiah.

That being said, the music is nice.

It is a superbly and brilliantly done stealth ad to lure center and rightward leaning people to the left.  If the music wasn't so good, the lyrics could sound like a silly parody at times, but they pull it off.  Look at the mix of words and phrases they use:  born again (lifted from theologically conservative churches), my Bible and the Bill of Rights (a great southern conservative combo phrase), from sea to shining sea, etc.

The song writer took a list of patriotic/conservative phrases used by church people, working men, patriotic women, etc. and strung them together to appeal to each specific demographic profile.    Brilliant marketing.  We should be doing stuff like this to the left instead of just calling them names.

If I thought Norman Lear and Obama really stood behind all of the Bill of Rights I'd buy into this in a heartbeat.  This reminds me of that American Hunters Association or whatever they call themselves that sound so pro gun, pro hunting till you read the fine print and realize they waffle out of every single support of gun ownership.  No wonder:  the founders all used to work for the anti-gun outfits and most of the board still does.  Yet some surprising gun writers jumped on board with them.

This great catchy song is just the bait on the trap.  Don't give them a cent of your money nor sign their stuff.  No telling what socialist cause they will claim all the signers backed.
