"Crossbow Hunting. As of January 1, 2020, any person may use a crossbow during any season when the use of bow and arrow is permitted. Includes archery deer, archery turkey and archery moose seasons."

For a decade you had to have a disability permit to use a crossbow then a few years ago if you were 50 years or older you could use one without a permit now anybody can use one.
