Very nice!!
Jim
Thank you Jim.
Yes those are nice. The Mac Ebony always pleases the eye.
Thank you HaMeR. It is some of my favorite stuff. It is a real pain in the hind parts to work but, worth it in the end.
Nice looking stuff. What kind of finish you using, they are sleek looking.
Thank you. These are a CA finish. The CA is cyanoacrylate (fancy talk for super glue). CA is nice looking and durable. I can take the luster down on the CA finishes giving it a stain gloss if that suits a fellas (or ladies) style better.
I still use oil finishes but only by request and on certain woods. I really like the classic look of oil and did most of my calls that way for awhile. However, The CA finish is more popular and it is a little more durable than oil.
I messed around with the camera on the iPad today. Recording in the shop has too much echo but it gives ya an idea. Shot a couple seconds of me messing with the calls. The call in the second video I have not posted yet. Toneboards and reeds are all hand done by me also.

I agree with Glen in the fact that I like Mac Ebony, but I have also seen some pieces of Bocote that have really been impressive. Nice looking calls.
Jerry
Thank you, Jerry.
The look really nice. I like the finish.
Thank you.
The videos were deleted by mistake. Here they are again.

Here is a quick photo of smaller open reed. It has a flat spot on the back to help me hold it with just my lips. The little catch give me a reference where my lip is and help keep it where it's at.
Sorry the photo is not good. I am still working on my photography skills.

The Macassar Ebony and the two little calls are sold.
