I've gotten a lot out of the FnF forum since finding this site and wanted to give something back to you good folks. From time to time I collect knives and thought I'd put one up for auction to benefit the FnF bank.

This knife was hand made in Nepal by a kami (blacksmith) named Sher Bahadur ('Brave Tiger') Bishwakarma who works for Himalayan Imports. It is called a "Kumar Karda" and has a 6" blade and 4 ¾" hand engraved wood handle together with a hand made sheath. Brass bolster and end caps peened. The blade is high polished bright steel (it looks black in my pics but it's not)

The knife was made out of a Mercedes Benz truck spring. Himalayan Imports makes the finest khukuri in the world IMHO. They also make a few of the smaller knives like the Kumar Karda. (a puuko style knife)

All proceeds of this auction goes to the FnF Bank. I will pay shipping and ship the knife to the winner when Jim says the funds have been received. This auction ends at 10:00pm CST on Sunday October 26.

That is a good looking blade. I'd bid on it in a minute if I thought I wouldn't have a problem at custom's. Oh hell make it $30.

Good buy. Would have cost more if the site hadn't shut me out :shrug:.

That was all part of my strategy Pitw.

You'll notice after a while, that anytime something good goes up for auction, the site becomes hard to access :shrug: :innocentwhistle:
