I'm wondering if you two have the old button colors cached in your browser and that's why your not getting to see the new ones.

I changed the "new posts" button to a gold like this;

The old button, which was this is now being used as the indicator for new posts inside a forum with sub forums, such as the hand call forum.

I logged in with a set up profile made a few posts and came back out, went back in as finsnfur, and everything seemed to work.

Empty out your cache's and let me know if that doesn't fix the issue for you.

Jim I have  the new color, but when someone post or replies to one of the sub forums under game calls, it doesn't light up but over in the right column ya can see theres a new post. Usually what catches my attention is the "Today" thing and then I wonder why doesn't it light up? :confused:

Could be something to do with my work computer system too.

FinsnFur

I don't get it  :confused:
I've even checkd it on another system

Now that ya brought it to my attention. After I posted to this post and went back to the lobby, the post indicator to this forum was of the old gray color, and not the newer green gold color.

It was just this forum as the others that had new post were gold.

Now hows this color indicator thingy supposed to work? What makes the indicator light go off and on? I'm pretty sure I know how its supposed to work, but I haven't quite figured this one out yet.

Ok, the game calls light indicator came on when ya  replied to the "Test" post. I checked it out, when I came out it was still gold. I hit the refresh button, and the indicator color went off.

Not sure if thsi helps, just tossing at ya to see if maybe it does.

It's suppose to be lit up gold if you have UNREAD posts in that forum.
If you make a post and go back to the lobby, it'll be black because it knows you were just there.

The forums with subforums will light up a translucent green out front if they have any posts that you have not read in the subforums, and the gold if you have unread posts in the regular part of that forum.

Mannnnn I think I just confused myself :holdon:

Nevermind. The "been read" non lit up ones stand out a lot less now.

Unless that changes it's just my work computer.

Anyone else having issues with this?

I've ran through all the modifications step by step from this change and everything seems to be in place.

Forums with posts that are new to you will indicate with this button;

And forums with subforums such as the Hand Call Forum and the Firearms forum with posts that are new to you will indicate with this button;

If you make a post and then go back out front, you will not see the button indicating "new posts" because the software knows you were just there....UNLESS you still have new unread posts inside that forum.

Once you read the posts that the buttons are indicating are new to you, the light goes out and the button will be black, and look like this;
