All,
I have a new Remington 700 ADL Varmint in 22-250. Great gun, I have just over 100 rounds through it, I followed break in procedures and the gun is shooting well, no extraction, feeding, or any other problems. But I have noticed that pretty much every round exhibits a cratered primer. It is not due to pressure problems, as it seems to happen with any load. (I tend to not load near max anyway).
I have been thinking of contacting Remington about servicing the bolt.  The primers are not near a failure point, but do show moderate cratering around the firing pin hole ? Would you all be concerned with this ?

Since you said you "tend to not load near max" my assumption is that you are reloading for the rifle.  Have you tried another brand of primers or a couple of factory rounds to see if the same thing happens?  If you have and have the same results, I would probably check with Remington.
