Glad ya made it back safe Jerry. I cannot stand driving in those conditions. I couldn't have done a long distance trip like that. :nono:
I sat here and looked out all day. :laf:

Looks like its finally done here. Im guessing only 7inches but it cold, heavy and packed from the wind.
I've been summoned to head down to the river tomorrow and help shovel off boat docks to keep them from sinking.

I hate freezing rain.  We get a lot of it here in a transition zone between salt water and inland mountains.  It snowed while we were gone over Christmas with patches of it still on the lawn.

Still snowing here, I want to throw my white gear on and hit the tundra and hunt Russians again  :yoyo:

well it was cooler today it only got to 64° and a little rain, I'm grilling right now in t-shirt and shorts...

I see that you're getting snowed in...

that's why I came south... I don't have to put up with that winter crap no more...  only supposed to get back up into the mid 70's the rest of the week... it's tough, but I think I can handle it...   :eyebrownod:
See any bugs?

oh yeah we got skeeters all day long, flies, moths around the lights at night, the chameleon's and even the tree frogs are out again...  my little oak tree by the deck hasn't lost all of last years leaves, and is starting to bud out again...  it's still up to 79° here but getting windy, maybe have some rain on the way...
when you step out of the truck you become part of the food chain...

the gal up the street has a couple cats that take care of most of the wildlife around, squirrels, young rabbits, birds and I'd suppose snakes also... I used to have garter snakes, a black snake and there were copperheads in the neighborhood, but not right around me, but since the cats moved in not so many anymore...

there used to be a lot more cats till the coyote moved in, he made short work of the slowest and dumbest of them... we went from 13+ strays to 2 which I think were some one's house cats...

Hawks Feather

Most of the ice breakers that I have seen are much larger than this.

Edit:  Are they getting things ready for the Polar Bear Plunge tomorrow morning?
