Great video! Wonder how the photographer got the video? Pure chance or targetting a specific cat? From the shakes it looked like a long range telephoto set up.
That country is so open it is marvelous. It is super thick almost everywhere here. One of the cougar researchers on the lion project here is also doing cougar research in Patagonia, way down in South America. He said that it is almost all open grassland there and that they often see cougars in the wild. I don't think he has ever seen one in the wild here by chance, only those treed by hounds.
