Dan were you at the LBL by yourself, or were you the only one with a camera? :laf:
OK here's a pic of the stew and the stew crew.
And the winner of the paddle used to stir the stew. The paddle was signed by all the participants of this year's LBL event
Thanks for the pictures!!
Jim
The paddle. I like that idea. Who was that as the winner? I dont recognize him.
Also...whos in the background of the first pic photobombing by flailing a light saber?
I am terrible with names so I am sorry to say I can't put a name with the paddle winner. So please if you know the winners name let us know.
The light Saber as you put it was a ceder limb that he had just cleaned up so we could use it as a stir stick sense someone had left the original stirring paddle at home and we needed to improvise till fozzy got back from wall mart with a new one.
We came up with the idea of having people sign something and door prize it at the end. I belive the very first thing we did that with was a foxfire book that everyone signed. I belive stray cat won that. And every year sense we have done something like that. One year it was a coyote pelt signed by everyone and other years we have done a couple hide stretcher boards. This year I just thought why not and the stew paddle it is.
That paddle signing is a great idea to compliment a great stew and a great hunt with even greater friends. I just wish I could be there. It really brings a lump to my throat and not many things do
The paddle winner was Drew . centerfire223's son
Thank you straycat! For the life of me I simply couldn't remember his name.
I thought he look like a Cannon [emoji2]
Yes I like the paddle signing. That was a good idea..

I branded him when he was born. He is luckier than a two p*ckered dawg.
