First time in two years to go up to Barkley dam. Boy things do change! I got to see flying carp of a size you wouldn't believe in the spillways. They allow bow fishing near the dam now as well. Guy's were airial bowfishing right there next to the dam.. Batteries went dead on me before I got to shoot those fellows. Winds were from the no0rth west near 17 mph and barometer at 29.93. I caught 22 Bluegill, 4 red ear,2 smallmouth, 1 largemouth, 1 white bass, 1 crappie, and one skipjack herring.
Not exactly high water mark, but these got hung up during the flood (http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb131/JDViniard/Fishing%20trips/HPIM0705.jpg)

Heck no it wasn't fun. Dang fish kept interupting my casting practice by grabbing my jig. Talk about ruining a guy's peace and tranquility :iroll:
