Title: Canoe seat mounts

Made these mounts from some 1/2" black cutting board that I ordered online,they came out pretty darn good.

If you thought that up you have a great idea.  If not, then you did a good job on the construction.

Looks like it is clamped to the original web seat frame.

Couldn't find anything I liked so,came up with these. I think they are going to work out pretty well.

Yep,they just clamp over the flat web seats...
