Title: roadkill bobcat & am now seeing coyote pups
Post by: Okanagan on June 17, 2018, 11:54:50 AM
Title says it.  Near Duvall, WA a few days ago I saw a fresh killed bobcat on the road shoulder, not a mark visible on it.  I don't think that I've ever seen a bobcat killed by a vehicle before.  Also saw coyote pups out learning to hunt in a field beside a highway in eastern WA.

I enjoy road trips, if I don't have to go through Seattle, which I usually do if the trip is in the US.  Traffic was so crazy jammed on Wed. midday that I skirted way around the city on back roads.  On my return Saturday it was similar, and I took to back roads again, but in some areas there are no alternatives due to water and mountain barriers with no roads.  A traffic reporter on the radio called it the "nice weather day in Seattle syndrome" that was causing traffic jams in every direction.  The sun comes out and everybody hits the road to go somewhere and enjoy the gorgeous country.

I would be in a rear end collision within 5 minutes, from not looking out the windshield :doh2:
