Title: Lake Murray, SC Striped Bass
Post by: SCcoyotehunter on January 17, 2009, 07:06:28 PM
It was a tough day today. We only caught five and only had one that met the size limit or 21". It was cold here today for SC. We started at 13 deg. High today was about 34 deg. I was catching mine on a new bait called the "Scrounger" designed by Aaron Martins. This a great lure for stripers. I highly recommend it.
Here is a picture of the bait. I like to use a solid white fluke on it.

Here is the picture of our one striper we got to bring home. He is now fileted and ready for the pan tomorrow.

He's not really big but if you get a mess of these bad boys you got something.

Never caught or eaten a striper.
Looks like a dandy.
