Bills Custom Calls

Since I worked a long shift on Thursday I got Friday off and I pretty much slept all day  :laf:
Saturday I put a couple pickup loads of firewood in the basement
Sunday was time to find a place to catch some fish we went to 4 different lakes and caught 1 catfish every place we stopped to throw a line in the water wasn't very long we had several butterflies just all around us was pretty neat I thought, forgot the camera so no pics on Sunday
Monday we headed for the lake again to hit a few spots we didn't get to yesterday wasn't long here come the butterflies again.Halle was the first one to cast and wasn't but a few minutes she had a good fight going pole bent to about all it was gonna take so I gets up and go over to help and this darn fish is caught in some tree branches laying along the bank,I get a hold of the line to help the fish to the bank Chris is on the way with the camera and this Carp spits the hook and swims away.Well we get settled back in after that and for the next 2 hours no more bites.so we head to another lake just up the road about 15 miles and this is where we spent the rest of the day

We fished this spot for a bit with no bites

Then we moved to this spot that has let us catch a couple cats throughout the summer

I caught this one

Halle caught this one

And Chris had her own experience with not getting one landed
We had several more bites but only brought 2 home
We now have enough to fire up the grill and cook them up

Oh and did I mention the butterflies they were all over the place

Just what did any of that have to do with labor .  Sure looked like a good time though :yoyo:.

Where is the wind.  It has been blowing pretty hard around here the last couple of days.  Looks like a good time.

Barry, if you look at the pic of the one Bill caught, you can sort of see he's annoyed with the task of holding it up for the hero shot.
A task is a form of labor, so he's good on that one.  :laf:

Dave when the pic was being taken of the one I caught I was getting another bite and was wishing the picture taking was over and done so I could continue trying to catch fish  :laf:
