Barry took the boys fishing the other day and hasnt posted any pics yet. So I'm just giving him a little helping hand and putting them up for him.

This first one is my favorite. Barry and the boys loading the boat.

Donny with a pretty good fight going on here, right before his line snapped.

Mandy trying to talk Bob into baiting her hook for her. Bob aint playing that game.

Old three fingers trying to put the seat on a Rapala knot.

The days final catch. Not too bad for a short day.

Donny cooking the fish over an open fire in the driveway.

Seeing as how we already have the thread started I'll add to it :eyebrow:.

I did get the boys to the lake and we did fish. First Bob catches a decent whitefish.

Then he finds a hole to lose it in :iroll:.

After which he poses with his prize.

This is what it looked like later after he had cleaned and fried it.

A couple minutes later while Bob is attaching a new bobber at the truck a bear came out at Donny and my end of the bridge.  I wasn't quick enough on the camera so no 15 yd shot and Don never even saw it and wouldn't believe there had been one .  Then we hear splish, splash as something is stepping in the water.  Out comes the bear that Bob had saw from the truck too :bowingsmilie:.  The next batch of pics shows it crossing the river and I can now say bears grunt while swimming .

It started to drizzle on us so we headed up the road to check out another lake and camping spot for future reference :readthis: and danged if we didn't find these guys.

A few calls on a call made from more animal parts than I can remember had  them all kinda spooky.  The sow put the little guys up a tree and then stood for a photo shoot.

Then she crossed the road again and with some distress sounds I managed a false charge out of her that was totally cool.

Then back to fishing and Donny caught a few Lake trout[all of us did].

His hero shot before turning it into supper.

Then as most folks head for their bunks my guys go to doing this.

Also saw a 160+ white tail that had as white of horns as I see on pictures from down in your country.
I say what I think not think what I say.

That looks like a heck of a way to spend a weekend.
Nice whitefish Bob! Did you guys eat that, turn it loose, or having it mounted?

Nothing better than a trip with your kids.
I think I'd start hunting at your fishing spots.  All you'd need is a net and a baseball bat.

Good story Barry and some great pictures, the Bears remind me of the hunts I use to go on in Ontario in a little town Called Madock. Sure is pretty country up there. cc
