Any one here ever use the one man inflatable pontoon boats? I have one, bought it from Rural King. All collapsed down it fits in the trunk of my car. I was wondering if anyone ever put a small trolling motor on one. If any one has how did it work out for you.

I like my little water skeeter but I get tired of rowing all over the lake. I will say that it makes for a real good crappie season. you cant get places where a larger boat just wont go.

I think Ive seen them at Cabela's, and contemplated the use. You got any pics of yours?

Not yet but I can slap it together and take some pics toomorrow. They will be on land and not in the water.

When i pull up to the lake it only takes 10 minutes to put together, inflate and I am ready and on the water. I am clsoe to 300 pounds and it holds me, tackel and a small cooler just fine. Only real problem I had with it was any wind would blow me around. I fixed that with a fish basket, works like a see anchor and keeps me in place unless I want to move. Like I said I love mine for fishing small coves and such off the main lake.

Yeah, I'd like to see some pics of it.
Right now I just go borrow a buddys 10' jon boat. She fits nice in the back of the Pickup.
I use it for skipping through the sloughs and Mississippi backwaters here during the spring when the bass are spawning.....but she's a real bear to try and drag across and islands....especially after the third or fourth one.  :whew:

I have one and use it up here in Alaska.  Some of the rivers are drift only and they work great for salmon fishing.  Although I will say that when a king hits your rod, you might go for a ride.

That aint no lie!! About the second time I had mine on the water I tied into a good size channel cat. Ultralight rod 4 lb test. Drug me around for about 45 minutes. MAN what a ride!!
