Believe they are about 1 and 1/2" in length.

Twinkletoes.  Hmmm... you didn't happen to play football for Kahlotus, Washington did you? That's what we called a 244 lb. Kahlotus fullback we played against who simply ran over us.  As a 129 lb. grade 10 linebacker sub, I tackled him once, or rather got run over once by him.
