Title: Slow motion bullets
Post by: Hawks Feather on November 29, 2007, 08:56:04 AM
Check out this link and watch as a bullet works.  I have watched it several times and have now started hitting the pause button as the bullet slowly enters the object.  Then by starting and stopping you can watch what is happening because even though it is slow motion it seems fast.  The fruit and vegetables seem to peel with triangular shapes coming off.

not what I expected..... there seemed to be almost as much 'explosiveness' at the entry point as at the exit  I would have thought there would be a notably greater disruption on exit  :wo: though maybe because of the type of bullet being used

I am not sure what bullet is being used, but it exits about the same as it enters.  If you are fast on the "stop" button you can catch it on the way out.

Cool video Jerry. Thanks for sharing. Looks like a handgun caliber bullet.
