I'm sure glad I held off on that .223 - The local Gander Mt, got this one in a couple weeks later and I had to have it. I couldn't even get this gun ordered from some of the local gun shops with that scope on it. Then this one shows up on the shelf in .22-250. It didn't last long    I picked it up a couple weeks ago, but haven't had much time to post it yet.

That's a nice camo job on it. Better not leave it on the ground, you would have a hard time finding it . What kind is it and what scope is that?

DirtyDog

Ah....looks to me like the Savage Predator.......Nice lookin gun and I have heard good things about it.  :congrats:

Yep DD is right...Savage Model 10 Predator equipped with a 4-12 X 40 Simmons scope. I love the accu-trigger on it, although it does take a bit to get used to. I might have to increase the puill on it a bit. She shoots pretty sweet too. I haven't had it out hunting yet, but I do plan to put some more rounds through it at the range before I do. I guess the Ruger is going to be the back up for somebody else to use that doesn't have a decent predator gun.

Wow, that is a nice camo job.
I've heard good things about the accu-trigger but I've got too close of a relationship going with my Ruger to hurt her feelings like that.

The only reason I bought another .22-250 is because I have the Ruger Mod1, it's only a single shot. I'd like to have the option for a quicker follow up shot if needed. I love that Ruger though she shoots great too :yoyo: Besides you can never have too many guns - right
