Here's a photoshop I did of my pups after their dad (Dakota - eyes in the background) passed away... we lost him at 7 to multiple infections...

This is Lokie (mamadog) she is 1/2 lab and 1/2 MacKenzie River Husky, Dakota was her dad too. Dakota & Lokie are the parents of all the rest of the pups.

Walker, because she was the first pup to walk :) She had an eye condition called entropion that required surgery and she's much happier now!

And the last pup from the first litter is Willow. He has an Enlarged heart. We found out about his condition back in March when the vet said he would probably live only a few months. It's now 7 months later and we're just glad to see his smilin face each morning when we bring him in from the pen...

And the last pup born to us is Yukon. This pup had to deal with a broken leg that I had to care for and set and he's back to bouncing 7' in the air, I guess I did ok by him ;yes;

And the last two dogs I have are Isis & Norman, both Alaskan Huskies. Isis was given to me by a friend and she has a story behind her that I'll tell someday. Norman ran the Iditarod and is now retired at 10 years old.

That is so cool.
Ya know what WolfWoman.....it's not even the actual dogs that make this thread so cool. It's the expressions, atmosphere, and general poise spilling from those pics.
Each and every one of those dogs obviously hold a place in your heart that will remain unmatched for eternity.
I'm not sure :confused: but a couple of them kind of seem as though they know it too. :wink:
More than you will ever know :) I hold my dogs closer to me than the majority of people that are out there because all they've ever done for me is GIVE to me. People should take lessons from dogs!
This one more than most ... they are with us and gone too quickly!!

Your going to fit in well with some of the Photoshop artists on this site.... or should I call some of them photoshop arsonists. :laf:
Photoshop is a blast, but if you take good pics, you don't need it :wink:
They all look soooo happy !! great pics !!
