search and PM functions ?

Being that I am a new guy on the block  I have a couple navigations questions  .Are they set up so you have to have 100 posts before they will work ? I tried to PM one and was told error you can't access any profiles . Tried a search and got error message as well .

Yea, dont be offended by the lack of options when your first signed on. It's pretty much protocol to eliminate trolls and spammers from taking the place over.
