We have something similar to that in SC. They trapped 16 coyotes and tagged them. Then they let them go, 4 in each hunt district. If you kill one of the tagged coyotes you get a Lifetime license. Chances of winning is like winning the lottery, but on the other hand. You never know when that chance will come.

Interesting.  States are getting more creative in controlling pest critters.  Awhile back there was a thread about WA State paying fishermen to catch pike minnows that eat so many salmon eggs.  I don't think we mentioned that the State tags and releases some pike minnows with a bonus pay off if you catch the tagged fish.  This year the tagged fish are worth $500.
