We are planning another FnF Turkey Contest (if there is enough member interest)
The contest rules and awards will be posted later in a different thread.
What we would like to ask: who is interested and when your spring turkey season starts and ends. This will give us a time frame for the contest.
If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact myself or any of the moderators.
Thanks and good hunting,
Chet

by Mrs. HaMer. :laf:
Do them peckers gotta be wild turkeys .
Barry... Yes they need to be wild.
I do believe the wife would put you in the Ram pasture for a long while if one of her pets come up missing and the grocery store would get a little upset it you shot one of their turkeys in the frozen food section.
Good try though :alscalls:
Just wait and see if ya win anything without a bird again... :laf: :laf:

Can't blame a guy for trying Semp :laf: :laf: I missed the knife in the auction and you and I know my chances of winning one in a turkey hunting contest :innocentwhistle:.
All right then . I'll donate a coyote jaw knife for a prize, just let me know where to send it. ( and not to Barry :nono: :nono: :nono: )
bambam,
Just send me a pm with a pic & description of the knife. Tell me which of the three contests you want it put in and which entry you want it to go to (1st place, 2nd place... etc.). I will then get it posted, ASAP.
Thank you,
Chet
Thanks a bunch Semp :innocentwhistle:
Count me in guys! Wouldn't miss it. :yoyo:
I want to play too. I hadn't killed a turkey in two years this will make me tote a gun for a change. I have called in a few for the boys to shoot. I do have a question ... will the red ones count?

I manage two days of turkey season each year. This year they are on Oct. 11 and Nov. 25. My preference is for dark meat, and the dressing and gravy is what makes the turkey worthwhile. :laf: I've been curious why this thread isn't in the cooking section?
Pitw, if you can find a white one and claim it is an albino, they might let you enter! :innocentwhistle:
I'm in. Season in NC runs Apr. 3 (youth day) through May 8. Good luck to all !
Contest is running and the threads are pinned at the top of this forum.
