Well..... I got to the top of the ridge on my farm a little late this morning but there was a lot of wind and lighting......So I wasnt in a hurry...... :iroll:
Even with the camera flash it was darker than usual out with the clouds........

But when it got light out I heard a couple of gobbles to my left so I worked them birds for about an hour and they crossed out of range of my shotgun past the decoy......

So I did what any good turkey hunter would do and took a nap........ :laf:
When I woke I stood up to take care of some coffee I had earlier and I saw this on a white oak tree.....
Sorry about the bad pic......the wind was a kicking up....
What the heck is it???

It looked fuzzy and fragle but when I shook the limb it held fast to the limb........
I also found a couple of piles of turkey feathers on my way out........ :argh: Something is killing my turkeys..... :argh:

Well all and all it was a great day all by myself and I think I will do it again tomorrow..... nap and all..... :yoyo: :yoyo:
Looked like a great morning to me Al, peaceful, quiet and relaxing, mixed with heart stopping excitement and frustration . No idea what the fuzzy stuff is either . All things alive get welcomed to the food chain sometime .
Something or somebody killing your turkeys?
From what I seen...... a coyote or fox perhaps..... but I found three of them.......
Yesterday....... I got cut off by two more trespassers...... :argh: and a BIG bird was strutting toward me at 70yds. !!!!
I am getting a LOT tired of running people off of private land!!!!!!!!!
 Hard to say Al, but two trespassers and three feather piles seems more than just co-inkydink! Sons of biscuits! :argh: :madd:
Hey Al
If these guys are trespassing on your property why can't ya call the CO or other law enforcement on them? (I am assuming physical violence is not an option for you)

The feather piles were on my farm....... the trespassing is on a relatives farm....... its not up to me what to do with them..... But I did take all the personal info from them and gave it to the owner of the land.
Semp,
One fella was not eager to give his info...... but when I told him we would just wait for the CO to get there to retrieve the info needed...... he was pissed! :eyebrownod: But he gave me the info....
Physical violence....... Is NO PROBLEM AT ALL However it will be a last resort......
were the trespassers local guys to your area?
Yup
