We had one of the largest earth movers on Earth right here about 1hr from home. She worked many years removing overburden 24hrs/day. Only being shutdown for repairs or large maintenance requirements such as oil changes in the enormous generators.

I never worked around the Muskie or the Spade but I did help build one of the biggest Demag Shovels in Ohio and it is working around the Stonecreek area I did get a chance to sit in the operators seat before it was put into operation and couldn't even begin to imagine the power that was at my finger tips :biggrin:
