Looks like it was used for a candle holder

Art, that's what I was gonna say too. Looks like a piece of some electrical insulator. Or a lid to a blender.  :innocentwhistle:

I'm thinking it's used for a drinking game, and that 2nd pic tells me someone's gotta chug.

Thats funny Dave, but while we were guessing, we missed the obvious.....................Its a change holder, and in this case the only change Jim has  hold, is a dime.  :laugh2:

Uh, I have a little more money, thats actually a quarter

I'm not picking up on the waterer,  unless your kidding.
We found this thing buried in the yard years ago, when we were digging out a foundation to add on.
Old farmstead, we found tons of dishes, silverware, tractor parts, bolts, medicine bottles, chains, etc.

Jim I have about six left in a case of those.  Try a quart jar over that one for size.  You fill the jar with water place the piece on it and flip upside down.  The water seals the air from escaping until drank down and then when it gets low a bit of air is allowed in which lets more water down.  Simple, effective and absolutely nothing to do with electronics so I can use them .
