I changed my mind on doing a database recovery to get last nights new posts back. Because what will happen is it will restore the posts how they were at that time, which means everything getting posted while you read this will be gone.
So I'm gonna call er good...apologize for not shutting the forums down during the move... And if you lost a post from last night, feel free to repost if you want to.
For those of you that missed the initial thread on this;
I moved FinsandFur.net over to my own servers on FinsandFurhosting finally. But left the board running while I did it.

This morning a few things were out of whack as the paths to some of the files needed to be matched up to the new server. No biggy.
And some of the posts got left back on the old server since I didnt shut us down for the move we had two boards running for a while. Again no biggy but I do apologize if you lost a thread that you typed on all night. Hey look at it this way, it would have been a perfect opportunity for you all to gang up on me since the post would have been gone at midnight :eyebrow:

On a totally different note. If you have an existing website and you are contemplating moving to FinsandFur Hosting, we will move your site absolutely free of charge as long as your site has Cpanel access and it's not on GoDaddy.
GoDaddy sites require a bit more involvement since everything is so dictated to their users.
You will lose zero data, and in most cases have zero down time.
And if you have a forum...we'll shut yours down for the move :eyebrownod:
