Tell Ben to bring his 4 wheeler if he wants. If he gets tired of chasing yotes, there is a 2600 acre off road area at LBL called Turkey Bay. Its real close to Wrangler's Campground where everybody camps. The weather might be too cold for riding but it is a nice area.

was talking with BigBen last night about this hunt, i wasnt aware that night hunting w/lights isn't allowed down there until he told me....what a bummer man! :rolleye:
anyways...i checked the moon phase for that weekend and it looks like a full moon on the 9th. so there should be enough moon to give it a whirl...hopeing for some of the white stuff on the ground to help visibility!

After talking with BigBen and Woody it looks like I'll be coming down finally. I talked about coming a few years ago on the other board but went up to the Maine hunt instead.

Sorry, NO "dark thirty" predator hunting in the Tennessee sector of LBL. Actually, at night here in TN, we can't hunt with any center fire firearm and/or have any kind of predator call in our possession. :nofgr: :sad:

Sure do wish I could make it but unfortunatlly Feb is one of the bussiest time here at Snowshoe and we are not allowed vacation time during Ski season or I would be there with bells on course Id have my calls and preymaster to but id wear bells just for kicks n giggles :roflmao: hope you all have a great time and I expect lots of pictures and storys from you guys who get to go :eyebrow:
