( 2 day ago ) I was taking the dog out before work and something bumped me in the back pretty hard. I assumed it was a bat that got blinded by the back porch light and went on my buisness. After getting home from work I check around the deck and see a nice sized hole going into the ground amongst the TigerLilly's. :wo: Hmmmm... bet that wasnt a Chipmunk.......
Fastforward to today, get up this morning and run down to the hardware store, then to the beer distributor, and back home to putter around the house.
While water sealing my picnic table I throw my empty can in the the 50gal can with no lid that's sitting along my deck and all of a sudden I hear such a noise it brought the hair on the back of my neck straight up... HOLY SHEEEP DIP !!!! I sprint to the kitchen and grab the trusty RedRyder from the corner and grab another can of confidence on the way out the door... I give the bb-gun a cock while sneaking up to the 50gal can, peep my head over and the BEAST LUNGES UP AT ME !!!!! I spill my beer, jump back and get ready for another stalk..... SLOWLY I make my way up to the can and peep over the side... good.. he's not looking up.. "THWAP" 1 trusty shot from the ole RedRyder placed behind the ear and THE BEAST IS DEAD !!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn is he ugly, 1st one of these I've seen since moving out of my Gramma's house 15 yrs ago.
