I've been slowly, but surely trying to get back into shape again. I've been walking between 3 to 4 miles/day. Trying to do a little jogging, but not too much as it get's my back really sore and been working out on the heavy bag again. I'm not hitting full power or anything yet as I don't want to tear anything up, but it is a workout for a man that hasn't hit the bag in ten years. My hands are pretty sore from it as well.
I said all that to celebrate a small milestone. I have been trying to get one of my favorite items to fit again and I think I'm getting close.
I just wanted to see what you guys thought. Am I getting there?

Don't take it personal Big Ben, we all know your better looking than that. :innocentwhistle:
Bop,
Glad to see that you are taking care of your health. (One thing that might help is to get a REALLY big hat for your next picture. It will look like you have dwindled away to nothing. Don't tell anyone this secret.)

Good idea Jerry. I wonder how many cows would have to die to make a hat that big? :laf:
Holy crap on a cracker. Some where a poor cow sacrificed its life for that.
:roflmao: :roflmao: "crap on a cracker". Thanks a lot John. :laf:

That's great, but does walking from the parking lot into Micky D's, the do-nut shop, ice cream parlor and the all you can eat buffet really count? :shck: :doh2:
:holdon: Just joking... :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
Seriously, I'm very proud of my ol' buddy James. :highclap: I wish I had his drive and stamina... 3 - 4 miles a day, in this summer heat, has got to be a major chore. Keep at it, my friend, you'll get there.
BTW< Please send my forth coming BITE ME to Al @ alscalls

I guess the bigger the order at McDonalds the heavier the bag. Maybe you should slow down when your knuckles get so close to that over eager burger eatin machine. :laf: :laf:
I'm glad to hear you're getting out & trying. In the end however much weight you lose your back will be happier for it. Good Luck Bop!! :yoyo:
Hey Bop, maybe a couple of great big reverse "Bite Me's" would work. Seriously, I hope you have good luck with your conditioning. It has to be a tough go after that kind of back surgery. Hang in there. :highclap: :highclap:
