I c'c'c'can't h'h'elp myself. Addicted to wild blackberries.
Had three cups of the wild ones left over, not quite enough for my favorite pie dish, so added some raw sugar, a pinch of cinnamon and cooked them into a sauce topping for ice cream. So good it makes me drool on the keyboard while typing.
Forgive me. I know I over focus... and my focus lately has been wild blackberries. The most common name for this variety seems to be "Trailing blackberries". Super Chef James Beard said that this variety is the king of berries. He was wrong. Wild huckleberries are king, or were in my mind till this past week.

That woulda hurt except our raspberries are now in feed me mode. Looks delicious.

Trailing Blackberrys. Is that because of the trail you leaving from your chin when eating them?
