I finished up this call a few days ago. It's a piece of scrap wood that I burnt and the barrel is mule deer antler. It's a cottontail in distress. Sorry about the pictures but I was trying a different angle and too lazy to re-take the pictures.  :madd:

When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

Thanks guys I appreciate it.  I don't get many pieces of antler that don't end up showing some marrow after it's turned down. That's why I decided to make the mouth piece black. It's the poor guys ebony and ivory.  :alscalls:

John,

That one is a looker and I can see why you are proud of that one.

Thanks Jerry. I am using a tripod now to take pictures and using the timer. Now I'm working on different angles and lighting to show the calls. Your picture taking E-mails have been a great help and I appreciate the time you have taken to help me.

Thank You

Shes a looker for sure John and if she hangs around longer I might have to see if she's for sale.

John_NY

Thanks Todd. I never made a call that wasn't for sale. But this one is gone. I have sold a couple while at the gun shop right off my lanyard. Then I had to go back home and grab a couple more to continue on my way hunting.
