Ryan my huntin partner and I got the spread all set up at daylight, next came the haybale blind I borrowed from uncle Ronnie.  I figured we had at least 30min before the first birds would show up.   I'll never buy one of them blinds, I should have had Devon with me to put the damn thing up.  Guns are sitting there, we're in our tee-shirts, next thing ya know we hear the honkin... here they come !!!  We throw the blind down and tuck down in our tee shirts and I get on the call.  All be danged if I didnt land the birds in our spread.  Ryan and I look at each other, slowly reach for our guns and throw a couple shells in and end up taking a single.   LMAO  :alscalls:   wish this hunt was on video, yall would have been rolling with all my cussing etc etc etc

Then we went scouting for the weekend and ended up running into this poster.    Ever see one like this ?

Al, I cant even get the thing back into its pack.   Ronnie called me at lunch and he's picking it back up on his way home.  He laughed his butt off and said I should set it up a few times before using it.  I didnt get it till late last night lmao.  Devon would've figured it out !!!  We never got it set up.

I've really grown on the Black Cloud.  I havent found a bb yet in the birds and they drop em quick.  For years I used the Winchester Experts because they were cheap and now I know why they were cheap.   Dont get me wrong, the Experts have their place out there and I've killed plenty of decoying ducks with em but if you want that extra couple yds the Cloud works much better.

The other shells I've tried are the Rem Nitro Steel, didnt like them much either.

I'm going to pick up some of that Hevi-Shot Hevi Metal, pattern and try that at some point this year as well.

The hevi shot will spoil ya in the field...... But for the price the black cloud sounds like at least a decent alternative...... :wo:

the heavy metal isnt as expensive as the normal heavy shot because its still steel, it runs about the same price as the cloud.    I've only seen it used on a waterfowl show and of course they only show the kills and not the misses etc etc..

What's this about you having trouble getting it up Vic?
