isnt new zealand where they have red deer?

my neighbors been talking about going thee for a hunt and i think its for red deer.

Yes Cathryn there is the red deer down in New Zealand. They call them the red stag more then deer that I know of. I didn't see an stags while I was there but I did see some young ones that were about 3-4 months old. They were not old enough yet to jump the fence so they where stuck in the one pasture at the farm I was at. It was very neat to see.
