By the looks of it then we'll just leave it as is.
I have no problems either way and to be honest I didn't even vote in my own poll. I wanted you guys to make the choice based on your own variables....and it looks as though that has been done.

I didn't even expect this initial post to turn into a thread. I appreciate the responses. Thanks folks.

I think it was still a good decision.
In my opinion, hiding the forum from guests just turns too many away. Not many people will go through the gruesome task of verifying themselves, their info and email, to join a site they dont know what is about. They just move on.

Plus that way,  too many of the ones that actually do have the time to waste, to go through all the motions just to see whats going on behind the door, end up becoming a zombie on the roster cause it wasnt what they thought it was, or something else comes up.

This way everyone can see what the place is about, what you see is what you get. Click the join button or keep moving. No surprises. No wasted time.
And to galvanize that whole theory, as you know, we have membership restricted forums in place to keep absolutely everything from spilling into the streets.
