Sure feel bad for your loss but it sounds like you had some good times, and that you have a lot of good in you from your Dad.  Years later, I still catch myself thinking, "I'll phone Dad and ask him..." and only then remember that he is gone from here. 

That's OK.  Grieve hard, remember him well and live like you know he'd want you to.
