I don't plan to be here myself, but for anyone interested... tomorrow, Wednesday, December 12, 2012 will be the final triplet of the 21st century.

12-12-12

Next one will not come around until the 22nd century.

01-01-01  (2101)

Seems like we ought to have a 99.99479 year party or something tomorrow.

There's getting to be so many of these it's actually becoming numbing. How does a person justify one having any more significance then another?
This time it's 12-12-12
Last time it was 11-11-11
Dont forget about the 10-11-12
They just keep going and going and going, and coming and coming and coming. It's like

:innocentwhistle: I guess the next one will be 11-12-13? Then 12-13-14, then we won't get another one till 01-01-2101.

Something that won't occur again for a century could be said to have significance.    The thread was started as a possible interest item only.

A triplet is a set of three of "one" kind.   Running numbers do not fit that definition.

My calendar was marked...Only because it was my daughters 19th birthday though. She got to spend it in Meridian, MS at the Naval Base waiting for her orders to be shipped home. She completed A school a couple weeks ago and they seem to have overlooked her orders for being shipped back to PA. She was not a happy camper.

Straights and flushes don't count!

I actually didn't know about it until I read it here.
