O.K. so this is "animal" related since Calvin Nicholls makes animals, but is really not hunting related.  (Unless you are hunting for an unbelievable piece of art.)  I had received some of his work in an email and thought others here might like to see some of it as well.  The thing you need to know before you start looking at his work is that it is all paper.  I have no idea how he makes paper look like fur, but he does.  The link is to one of the galleries that is mostly comprised of animals, but there are other galleries there as well.

Enjoy,

Jerry

That is really cool. I dont quite get it though
Are they literally 3 dimensional objects when he's done, layered sheets or textured drawings?

It says he's got a bunch of work in a museum up here in Wisconsin. Thats kinda cool too.

They are not drawings.  They are 3-D (possibly layered) but the animals with fur were made from tiny slits of paper.

Great post!  I am very familiar with this guys work.  I am a retired school librarian and every year I dealt with Follett for my library book orders.  These works of art were always on the cover of their catalog.   I also have several sets of thank you type cards with the art work on them.
