Water Buffalo and Stainless Steel...

I finished this one today, thought I would show it to ya'll...it is Indian Water Buffalo and stainless...it looks and feels like glass....but it isn't  This one is as nice on the inside as it is on the outside....wish I was a better photographer...I borrowed an idea from Brian on the fitting of th accent ring....also, the entire call is press fit....no glue, but closed up like a safe....we will have to see how the temp/humidity effect it.....








I am going to learn this stuff if it kills me!!!!!!

Just watch out for the exploding acrylic schrapnel and you should be ok.

It looks to me like you have a pretty good handle on turning buffalo all ready.  That is a sharp looking call.  I only wish that I had made it first.  But I don't have the materials or the knowledge.

Thanks for the info!! I know some have been made from hippo tooth & I didn't think a water buff had teeth that big.    Seems like you could get quite a few from a horn.

Not really....cause it is made form the solid part....most of the horn is hollow

  Took the call for a spin today.  Very nice,  call looks and sounds awsome.  Almost to pretty to take in the field but to good not to.  You really did some fine work here Joe!
