Stopped on the way home from work for a little quick flyfishing along the river. 85° and humid and the mosquitoes were savage so after about 15 minutes I said the hell with this and headed to the parking lot with visions of cold beer and dinner in my head.

 I get in sight of my vehicle and there's a whole herd of young kids look to be about 12 to 15 years old, one of them leaned over on his bicycle looking right in my passenger side window.

I soft footed right up behind them and used my command authority voice and said SOMETHING I CAN HELP YOU WITH IN THERE?

Little bastards all jumped and spun around, I said if you little fuckers want to live to be 16 you better haul ass right now, and they did 😈.

I am 100% sure they were planning some mischief. I let the police chief know about my experience.

It's a big concern leaving your vehicle unattended when you're hunting and fishing with all the druggies about nowadays. I used to leave all kinds of gear in my vehicle back in the day, now I don't leave much of anything in it.
