Afternoon Hunt

A truck driver, a preacher and a cop (no joke). We went out for 5 stands this afternoon.
About 10 minutes into our 1st stand we called in a kid on a dirt bike. We gave him a pass since it was public land.
2nd stand was dry.
On our 3rd stand sitting on both sides of a sharp ridge, 1 coyote was coming up thru the brush on my side, and 2 coyotes were coming up the other side were Sand Gap Sniper was sitting. He shot the rear coyote thru the neck with his 243 WSSM at about 100 yds. DRT. It was a 43# male. The other coyotes left the area in a hurry.
Last 2 stands, nothing.

Sounds like a good day......the last time I hunted with more than one other person (bnccont and HaMeR), I called in an Amish girl.

ROFL....can't remember who it was that called in a very large, very angry lady, but it was funny!!!
