Anyone on here own this call by johnny stewart and if so do you like it.Thinking about getting one myself. Thanks

The Preymaster works fine. The biggest down side is no remote feature and you are limited on sounds.

I got one I'll let go of if you're interested.  I went to a remote caller.

PM me if interested.

Exactly what Semp had mentioned, pretty decent caller for the price.  The sounds are hard to beat IMO.
Winding and unwinding the wire to the speaker gets old quick.  I still use mine alot although
I bitch about the wire every time.

Yes - and I'd never buy another for two reasons
1.  The wire is too short as to be almost useless to set up a decent calling stand.  I've added a longer wire (300 ft) but it's still too short and is a total PITA to deal with setting up and trying to collect in the dark after a hunt.
2.  The sounds generated aren't that good.  Maybe for other geographical areas (I hear they work OK in TX) but not up where I live.   A couple of the dog sounds are decent, and the good 'ol "Vittles ala Jackrabbit" (which you have to buy separately) will get you an occasional fawn in to see what is going on, but the other sounds, I've never gotten anything to respond to at all.    Even if I use mouth calls, I can get birds and crows and even deer to respond on a consistant basis, but with the preymaster, almost nothing.

well i done got it so maybe it will work.I have heard good and bad about it.I'm sure a foxpro has its good and bad points about it! :eyebrownod:

I've hunted over two of them but never sat close. The owner/operator set me downwind about 100yds each time. From what I heard it sounded OK. The volume seemed to be decent too. But it doesn't have to a boomer for coyotes to hear it. Good Luck with your new caller & show us pics!! :eyebrownod:

I think you will do well with the new caller I have killed several with the preymaster and have called many more with it. I have even had a few stick there noses in the speaker even though it was on a 50 foot cord. The Johnny Stewart house cat in distress has served me well and is on all my electronic callers. It is also a good crow caller also.

Please share some pics of your success with the caller. :readthis:
