FOXPRO's Predator Contest 2006-2007

Rules & Regulations

1. The contest will take place from 12:00AM on November 6, 2006 and end at 11:59PM on February 28, 2007.

2. Each participant will be required to create their own topic with their name (or screen name) under the FOXPRO Predator Contest Forum. All photos for that person will go under their single topic for the duration of the contest. Please try and post tasteful photos. A person is not required to post his/her photos right away, but all pictures must be posted by the end of the contest.

3. All pictures must be posted by 11:59PM on February 28, 2007.

4. All posted predators MUST be harvested by the person in the topic. For people that hunt in teams, only the shooter may take credit for the predator.

5. Predators must be taken by legal means in the state in which they were harvested.

6. All predators must be taken with the use of FOXPRO. It is OK to use hand calls on your stand in conjunction with a FOXPRO.

7. Night or day hunting are both permitted.

8. Fresh kills only! No frozen entries permitted.

9. No FOXPRO Field Staff Members are permitted to enter the contest.

10. All photos must include the registrant.

11. Scoring is indicated below.

12. All photos will include the registrant, the predator taken, and their FOXPRO. There will be a specific pose in which all registrants will be required to make-you must hold the FOXPRO in one hand while displaying a "thumbs-up" gesture with the other one.

Scoring/Categories

1. The most points for all predators. Coyotes, Fox, Bobcat, and Raccoons count as one point. Wolves will count as 3 points. Mountain Lions will count as 5 points.

2. The longest tailed coyote. Photo of the tape measured length of tail must be included for this one, as well as the official pose. The measurement must be taken from the base of the tail to longest part of the tail.

3. The heaviest mountain lion. The pose must be included in the photo along with measurement details (preferably include a shot with the scale reading).

4. The heaviest coyote. The pose must be included in the photo along with measurement details (preferably include a shot with the scale reading).

Note to All Participants

The FOXPRO 2006-2007 Predator Contest is an online event. All scoring and judging will be done by FOXPRO staff members. Since we will not be present to inspect each entry or harvest, take measurements, and so forth, we ask all predator hunters participating to conduct themselves in an honest and ethical manner. Cheating, forgery, and other trickery will not be tolerated.
