Four on the floor

Finally it is cool enough to hunt, for me anyway. Second set up this morning , hit it kinda lucky. YOY.  Using a Foxpro pup in distress called in four . I was sitting on a three legged stool next to a cedar tree  facing west with the sun coming up behind me. They came in the edge of the field to my left ( south) one at a time. Shot two pretty close together. Turned the caller back on a got one to pop out in front of me.( west) I saw another come into the field , I couldn't get a shot , turned the call on and it went all the way around and came up on my right side.( north west) Had only one run off with the 22-250 but it didn't make it very far. 4 shots 4 dogs. It's the most I've taken on one stand.

Thanks everyone for the positive replies. JD, I filled up that Fin N Fur yote tote. Glad I had it. It was a hell of a drag with four on the hook. You're right JD, I'll always remember that hunt. I've killed 3 or 4 doubles  and got two and a cat once,  but never 4 at one stand.  There's plenty more Jim and I got more ground .

Yea , let me tell you, if you don't have something to get those critters out of the woods, now is the time to get it before you need it. I've used mine lots, it is so handy , beats the heck out of hand dragging and hand cramps. I got mine from  this site. Ask Jim how to get it.
