Some of the bass are starting thier beds here.

Were setting at 48 degrees here too, just below the surface. It'll be a lil bit yet our bass start moving.

There's a few in the shallows on real sunny days, but they are real sluggish yet.

Jim, We have had our share of snow. I'm glad it is finally getting outta here. With the melting going on, all our dams and lakes are just about full. Lake Oahe which backs up 250 miles upstream is rising at the rate of just about a ft. every 24 hrs. The elevation is 1607 and rising. Full capacity is 1620. We haven't seen Lake Oahe that full for about 10yrs. All the boat ramps are accessible and everyone is happy. We usually get our best runoff from the mountains East of us in June. I suspect our lake is going to be just about full. With the water rising , our northern pike should have a real good spawn. All that vegetation with provide excellent spawning and fishing.
