Is that a common color phase up there, ever see a black one?

I understand frogs are in season.
When they come for mine they better bring theirs

FinsnFur

John our coyotes don't vary much in coloration at all.  40 miles south of my house they do get a bit bigger and their heads have a different build.  These coyotes when you get a big pale one will sell in the top lot at any fur auction.   Around home we get more of the "bushy" coyote.   I have never seen a color phase other than these and even the coydogs I get have this coloration.  It would be neat to see a black one but I wouldn't be able to shoot it cause I wouldn't be sure.
Yes sir guys certain frogs are in season year round just like coyotes and some people that lump me and frogs together.  I learned a long time ago that he with the most patience usually wins a battle. :laf:

Thanks, so as not to hi-jack your thread I'm going to post a few questions in the predator section.

You are welcome and I think your chances of being able to hijack a thread of mine are far more remote than your chances of getting a black coyote.

Jeb I'm sorry but something got on my mind and I forgot to nswer you :doh2:.  I'm from Alberta, Canada.  That land north of most of you that holds the odd frog.

Al I think you'll like the story .
