I got into my tree stand and got my safety belt hooked on, fanny pack hung up, quiver off, arrow knocked, bow hung, and was ready to roll. :whew:   It was a nice calm morning, and the leaves were good and noisy, so I thought I'd let out a few bleat calls and try and tell anything that heard the herd of elephants walkin through the timber that I was really just a nice little doe out on a leisurely morning stroll.  :eyebrow: Well it worked for this one little fella anyways. He came in totally silent and in super stalker stealth mode lookin for some tasty venison. The only problem for me was, he was only at about 30 yds and closing when I first saw him, and my bow was still hanging there.  :wo:  About the time I went to go for my bow, he turned and was looking my direction, so my hand made it half way to my bow, and had to freeze there suspended in mid air like a dime store mannequin.  He finally decided the coast was clear and continued to pursue his unsuspecting breakfast. My hand made it to my bow, and I got it off its hanger, when his sixth sense kicked in again and and he stopped to look around my direction, so again I froze. He started to continue his stalk to the source of the sound, and at this point was at about 20 yds. He was heading in the direction of a nice large tree that would give me the opportunity to draw my bow.( "go behind the tree, go behind the tree" ) He stepped behind the tree, () I drew on him, and he took a couple more steps, and WHAM! Mr. broadhead, meet  Mr. coyote. He did a couple real quick crappie flops, took off runnin, and made it about 30yds, and folded. Not so much as another twitch.  :yoyo:

Didn't weigh this one John. I thought about doin maybe
a shoulder/pedestal type mount on one I shot with my bow,
but this one didn't quite fit the bill. Maybe the next one.  :eyebrow:
Thanks a lot guys. Appreciate it. It was pretty cool.
