first hound hunt??

i was givin a chance to go coyote hunting with my girlfriends father and i was wonder what to do and what not. its my first real hound hunt. im askin for some advice from all the hound hunters

Well Duban my first thought would be to not turn your back on the girls father  .  As for hound hunting I'm useless to you .

LoL... Barry, this is my oldest boy.  I went to school with his gal's dad and he's no small fry and as crazy as can be.  I just hope the boy has his running boots on  :roflmao:

So what kind of hound hunting you going to be doing Duban?
Using the dogs to run em out to ya. Using the dogs to locate and hold em? or....

we use the dogs to chase em to us. we set em out in two spots and came up dry then i just headed home with the gals dad and warmed up it was pretty chilly here and the dog wasnt runnin right i get to go ot every weekend with them soo i better get in best shape cause it is ALOT!!! of running.... haha

gonna warm up this weekend, should be some good runnin then.  Yes you can have the muck boots, I bet them steel toe loggers keep your feet warm

I've been lucky enough to attend a running of the dogs with Vargy down in Missouri. Some of you may know or remember him from other boards.
This guy lives and breaths, dogs running coyotes. It was something I'll never forget, darn good time.
